Secretariat Demolition: Telangana Government To Allow Media:- The government of Telangana decided to permit media to cover the demolition of the Secretariat premises. Prashanth Reddy, the Minister for Roads and Buildings said that the media is invited to cover the demolition of Secretariat this evening and the status of the demolition will be allowed in the presence of the Hyderabad Commissioner Anjani Kumar. Before this, the High Court of Telangana asked the government to allow the media to the demolition site of the Secretariat. The media personnel will be taken from BRK Bhavan to Secretariat this evening.

A PIL has been filed that sought permission for the media to cover the process of demolition of Telangana Secretariat. Huge security was imposed near and around the Secretariat premises and traffic curbs were imposed after the process of demolition started. Telangana Chief Minister KCR said that the government will spend Rs 500 crores on the new Secretariat building that would be re-constructed in the same premises. Telangana government also released the pictures of the new building premises.
