YS Jagan Expands His Cabinet, Gives Space For Backward Classes

YS Jagan Expands His Cabinet, Gives Space For Backward Classes:- As expected, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy expanded his cabinet today and the new ministers took their oath in AP Raj Bhavan in the presence of Governor Biswabhushan Harichandan. YS Jagan inducted two ministers from backward classes. Chelluboyina Srinivas Venugopal Krishna (Ramachandrapuram MLA) and Seediri Appalaraju (Palasa MLA) took oath as cabinet ministers today. Appalaraju is a first time MLA. Ministers Mopidevi Venkataramana and Pilli Subashchandra Bose have been asked to resign as they are sent to Rajya Sabha as MPs.

Srinivas Venugopal Krishna and Appalaraju are inducted into YS Jagan's cabinet today. Dharmana Krishna Das who is working as the Minister for Roads and Buildings has been promoted as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state. For the first time, YS Jagan appointed five Deputy Chief Ministers for Andhra Pradesh. Pilli Subashchandra Bose worked as a Revenue Minister and Mopidevi Venkataramana worked as the Minister for Animal Husbandry. The portfolios of Srinivas Venugopal Krishna and Appalaraju are yet to be decided and announced. The cabinet strength of YS Jaganmohan Reddy stands at 26 with the new appointments.
