YS Vivekananda Reddy Murder Case: CBI Starts Enquiry

YS Vivekananda Reddy Murder Case: CBI Starts Enquiry:- AP ex-Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy's brother and senior politician YS Vivekananda Reddy has been brutally murdered in his Pulivendual residence last year and the murder still remains as a mystery. The Andhra Pradesh High Court asked the CBI to take up the case and the investigation of CBI started today. The CBI officials met Kadapa SP Anburajan today and enquired about the details related to the case. Vivekananda Reddy was killed on March 15th last year. The CBI officials started their investigation in Pulivendula today.

YS Vivekananda Reddy's daughter Suneetha filed a petition in the High Court after which the top court granted CBI enquiry. AP Government was under immense pressure and a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed which invested the case thrice. They have investigated and interrogated 1300 suspects in the case. The High Court was surprised as the SIT could not trace the real culprits in the case. CBI is investigating if Vivekananda Reddy had an personal or land issues, property rivalries. The High Court asked CBI to investigate the case at the earliest and submit the report to the court. SIT has been asked to submit all the records to the CBI officials.
