Varavara Rao Stable After Tested Positive With Coronavirus:- Social activist and writer Varavara Rao has been facing charges in the Elgar Parishad case and is behind the bars from 2018. He has been tested positive with coronavirus on Thursday. The 80-year-old Varavara Rao has been shifted to JJ Hospital in Mumbai and his health is stable confirmed the doctors. He is moved from Taloja Central in Navi Mumbai after Varavara Rao complained of dizziness. His family members were concerned about his health as the coronavirus impact is huge in the country.

Varavara Rao underwent a series of tests yesterday. He was shifted to St George Hospital which is a dedicated coronavirus facility in Mumbai. The doctors clarified that Varavara Rao showed no symptoms of coronavirus and he is doing extremely well. The doctors also confirmed that his breathing is normal. The hospital authorities of St George Hospital said Varavara Rao's blood pressure, oxygen saturation levels and fever are normal but he is admitted in ICU because of health complications. Varavara Rao is suffering from Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy which is a disease related to urinary function.

The doctors said that some other tests would be conducted for Varavara Rao. His family members complained that he was unattended by the doctors for much time after he was taken to the hospital.
