India Climbs To Third Place In Coronavirus Cases:- India is unstoppable in coronavirus pandemic and the number of new positive cases are increasing rapidly on a regular basis. With 24,422 new cases on Sunday, the total cases in the country reached 6,97,284 and the deaths stand at 19,700. 421 people passed away on Sunday. India is now the third most impacted country in the world because of coronavirus and it stands next to USA and Brazil. USA is the worst-hit country with three million cases and is followed by Brazil with 1.6 million cases. 1,32,000 people passed away in the USA while the deaths in Brazil stand at 64,000.

India surpassed Russia which has 6,81,251 cases with 10,161 deaths. Peru is in fifth place with 2,99,000 cases and 10,000 deaths. These are the records as per Sunday night. Though the recovery rate is good in India, the number of new cases are creating panic all over the country. With the monsoon season in India, the spread is expected to be huge in the month of July. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Delhi are the worst-hit states in the country with over 60% of the cases from the country. Countries like China and in Europe have got a huge control over the coronavirus.

India received one lakh cases in just five days. Karnataka and Telangana have witnessed huge rise in the cases in the past one week. Strict lockdown is imposed in containment zones but the spread could not be controlled in India.
