International Flights Ban Extended Till July 31st

International Flights Ban Extended Till July 31st:- The ban on the international flights got extended till July 31st due to the coronavirus pandemic. It was July 1st initially and the ban was extended till July 15th. The ban is now further extended till the end of this month. DGCA, the civil aviation regulator said that the ban on all the international flights is extended and the cargo, special flights are allowed to operate. The Vande Bharat Mission started on May 6th and Air India along with private airlines are operating special flights across the selected international routes.

The domestic flights in the country resumed on May 25th after a strict lockdown of two months. All the issued social distancing guidelines are followed in the airports and the international services got delayed. With the coronavirus turning quite severe in the country, the DGCA felt that this is not the right time to start the international flights. The traffic across the domestic services too is not satisfactory because of the coronavirus scare. The total coronavirus cases in India are said to be 6,25,544 and the death count stands at 18,213. The recovery rate in India improved to 60.72 percent till date.

Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, New Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and West Bengal are the worst-hit states in India.
