Oxford Vaccine For Coronavirus In Final Stages Of Clinical Trials:- Oxford University along with AstraZeneca Plc have been working on a vaccine for coronavirus from some time. The experiment is said to have entered into the final stages of clinical trials to assess how good it is and how it protects people from getting infected with coronavirus. The virus already infected 9.4 million people and 4,80,000 people got killed across the globe because of this pandemic after it started in China in December last year. Tentatively named as the ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccine, it is licensed to AstraZeneca.

The vaccine will be given to 10,260 children and adults in the next state in the United Kingdom. The same vaccine was trialed in Brazil and South Africa already. Serum Institute of India invested 100 million USD to produce one million doses for India along with other developing countries. Andrew Pollard, head of the Oxford Vaccine Group said that the clinical studies are progressing very well and some other evaluations are yet to be predicted. Oxford Vaccine Group is in plans to launch the vaccine by the end of the year if the trial is successful.
