Andhra Pradesh Budget 2020 Highlights:- The Assembly sessions in Andhra Pradesh started today and the state cabinet approved the state budget which was introduced in the Assembly house today by the Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy. The total budget introduced is said to be Rs 2,24,789.18 crores. There is no hike in the budget this year. The total expenditure of the state for the year 2019-20 stood at Rs 1.50 lakh crores and the revenue stood at Rs 1.55 lakh crores. Here are the key highlights and allocations from the AP Budget 2020:

Rs 25,331.30 crores are allocated for BC welfare.

Rs 11,805 crores are allocated for irrigation and water projects.

Rs 2050.22 are given for minority welfare.

Rs 15,735 crores are alloted for SC welfare.

Rs 350 crores for Kapu Nestham.

Rs 6300 crores for YSR Aasara.

Rs 2000 crores for Jagan Anna Vasathi Devena.

Rs 470.29 crores for the purchase of 1000 ambulances.

Rs 6984 crores for the energy sector.

Rs 7231 crores for the transport sector.

Rs 25,201 crores are allocated for the general education.

Rs 348 crores for technical education.

Rs 15,112 crores for the rural development.

Other Budget Allocations:

Rs 11,419.44 crores for Health.

Rs 11,891.20 crores for Agriculture.

Rs 500 crores for Dr YSR Pata Bhima.

Rs 1100 crores for interest free loans.

Rs 3615 crores for YSR Raithu Bharosa.

Rs 20 crores for YSR Kanti Velugu.
