Supreme Court Slams States Over Coroanvirus Treatment:- The Supreme Court slammed Delhi government calling that the coronavirus patients are being treated worse than animals. The Supreme Court said apart from Delhi, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal are badly impacted. The Supreme Court sought response from the Centre and the state governments about the widespread of the coronavirus. The Supreme Court asked the Arvind Kejriwal government to explain about the fall in testing in New Delhi.
"Coronavirus patients are treated worse than animals. A body was found in the garbage. Patients are dying and there is no proper treatment given to them. Why did the testing come down from 7000 to 5000 in Delhi when the tests are increased to 17,000 per day in Chennai and Mumbai?" questioned Supreme Court about the coronavirus on Delhi government. The Supreme Court said that the coronavirus tests cannot be denied and it asked the states to conduct more and more tests in the country.
The national capital is having 34,687 cases and 1085 deaths are registered in Delhi. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu are the worst hit states in the country. Though Arvind Kejriwal said that Delhi is well prepared to treat the pandemic, the Supreme Court said that the situations are worse in the national capital.
