New Zealand Declares Itself Coronavirus Free:- New Zealand is probably the first country in the world which is now having no positive case of coronavirus. The country lifted all the domestic restrictions of coronavirus today after the final coronavirus patient was tested negative. Prime Minister Jacinda Arden announced the news and she said that was dancing in the living room after she knew about the new milestone. New Zealand will have strict border rules. Arden said that there is no need to follow the rules of social distancing and there is no limit for the public gatherings across the country.

Jacinda Arden said in a television address that they are confident in eliminating the transmission in the country for now. New Zealand registered a total number of 1154 cases and 22 deaths in total. New Zealand registered no new infections and cases from the past 17 days. There was one active case for a week. For privacy reasons, the details of the last patient were not released. New Zealand was under seven-week strict lockdown which helped the country curb the infection. New Zealand also allowed sporting events in crowds with the country turning coronavirus free.

New Zealand Prime Minister said that relaxation would help the country regain its economy.
