Supreme Court Justice's Sensational Comments On Indian Legal System:- Deepak Gupta, the Justice of Supreme Court made some sensational comments on his farewell. He said that the Indian legal system is favorable for the rich and the powerful. He said that the judges cannot hide their heads like an ostrich and they need to identify the problems with the judiciary. Deepak Gupta is the first judge from the country to get a farewell through the video conferencing due to the coronavirus lockdown. Deepak Gupta said that the legal system works faster for the rich when they are kept behind the bars and for the poor, it is delayed.

"Our laws are in favor of the rich and the powerful. The system works faster for the rich if is behind the bars. He can approach the higher courts till he gets the expedition order the higher court. But for the poor, the trial gets delayed and delayed and he cannot approach the higher courts. The rich can also afford to approach the higher courts to delay the civil litigation which can delay the proceedings of the court. We cannot hide our heads like an ostrich. We have to identify our problems and deal with them. I saw several lawyers who argued on political sides and ideological sides but against the law" said Deepak Gupta.

Deepak Gupta was the first Chief Justice of Tripura High Court and he worked as the judge for Himachal Pradesh High Court. Deepak Gupta now retired as the justice of the Supreme Court and he took part of several notable judgments.
