New Rules For ATMs And Pensioners Starting From May 1st:- Several rules are being changed for the pensioners and ATMs starting from today. The Employees Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) decided to give out full pensions from May for all those who opted out for commutation at the time of their retirement. This is an option given to pensioners to convert a part of their pension (monthly) into a lump at the time of their retirement. The full pension is restored after 15 years and the government announced about this in February. This will benefit 6,30,000 pensioners every month which costs Rs 1500 crores for the government.

The employers are also allowed to file monthly provident fund returns without making any payment dues. All the employers will file PF returns and make the dues. All the ATMs will be made infection free after every use. In municipal corporations, the ATMs will be sanitise ATMs twice a day. The ATM chambers will be sealed if the rules are not followed.
