Telangana Ready To Lift The Lockdown:- Telangana Chief Minister KCR announced that the state would be under strict lockdown till May 7th and the final call about the extension or lifting the lockdown would be taken on May 5th after the state cabinet will analyze the situations of the number of cases. The state which had a huge number of cases saw a huge decline in the number of cases. All the districts registered no new cases in Telangana which is a hugely positive sign. The state is now eligible for the lockdown to be lifted as per the Centre's guidelines. The Centre is in plans to lift the lockdown after May 4th in all the states that have registered no new cases. Telangana registered six new cases yesterday and all of them are within the limits of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation.

The total number of cases in the state are 1009. 374 people recovered completely and 610 people are active. 25 people passed away in the state due to coronavirus. The state's Health Minister Etela Rajendar says that the lockdown would be lifted if no new cases get registered by May 8th in Telangana. He also said that the state would be under strict monitor till the completion of the lockdown. On the other side, the number of cases in Andhra Pradesh continued to rise. The lockdown is implemented till May 3rd in the country and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will make an announcement on Sunday.
