Tablighi Jamaat Event: 9000 People At Risk:- As per the reports from the Centre, at least 7600 Indians and 1300 foreigners are at risk due to the Tablighi Jamaat event that took place in Nizamuddin between March 15th and 17th. This event turned out to be the biggest hotspot of the country in coronavirus pandemic and the number of positive cases has seen a huge rise in the past couple of days. The Centre identified 9000 people and the officials worked round the clock to identify 1306 members of the organization. All these people need to be taken and they are to be tested along with the contact they went in touch to.

Around 400 people have been tested positive yesterday which alone tells that the number would go high in the coming days. Tamil Nadu had 190 positive cases, AP had 71, Delhi got 53, Telangana got 28, 13 in Assam, Maharashtra had 12 and 10 new cases were reported in Andaman and Nicobar islands because of the Tablighi Jamaat event. Several people from Indonesia and Malaysia are spotted attending the event and they kept roaming across the country after the completion of the event. A batch of Indonesians were nabbed in Telangana's Karimnagar and the whole district was kept under high alert.

Delhi's Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that 2335 people were taken in 36 hours and the rest of them are searched. Most of them showed the symptoms and the tests are conducted.
