Kerala Government Announces Complete Lockdown:- Kerala government announced a complete lockdown in the state. All borders in the state to remain closed, operations of all public transport to cease. All places of worship to also remain closed. The state witnessed a huge jump in the number of cases already which left the state in pain. Kerala Chief Minister Pinayari Vijayan said that the lockdown would continue till March 31st. The operations of all the public transport will come to a halt from this midnight and the borders for the state will remain closed.

The total number of cases in the state reached 95 and is fastly rising. The Health Department conducted a review meeting after which the Chief Minister announced the news. Strict action would be taken if the people step out of their homes and violate the rules. The state's cabinet met today afternoon to assess the situations and to discuss about the measures to be taken against the coronavirus. Kerala was the first state to be impacted due to coronavirus and the number of cases saw a huge high.
