YS Jagan Bans Liquor For 17 Days In Andhra Pradesh:- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been keen on imposing liquor ban across the state in stages. With the local body polls coming soon, AP Government said that the liquor will be banned completely for 17 days in the state. The liquor in the state will be banned from March 12th to 29th of this month. The local body polls will commence from March 21st to 29th across the Mandal and Zilla Parishads, Panchayats in Andhra Pradesh.

This is sure a sensational decision to ban liquor in Andhra Pradesh as it would turn a dent for the liquor sales and excise revenue in the state. YS Jagan is keen on imposing a liquor ban in the state. The opposition parties have been criticizing YS Jagan for his move from some time after which YS Jagan decided to bring a ban during the local body polls in Andhra Pradesh. While some sections call it a revolutionary decision by Jagan, some of them are criticizing it.

TDP is joining hands with CPI in the local body polls and Janasena, BJP inked an alliance in the polls. YSRCP is quite confident about sweeping the local body polls.
