Amaravati Under Police Scanner:- After the government of Andhra Pradesh made it official that the state would have three capitals, the farmers rushed towards the Assembly premises. The opposition TDP party staged protest in the Assembly after which several leaders were arrested. Janasena Chief Pawan Kalyan rushed to the capital after which he was restricted in his Mangalagiri residence. With protests reaching new heights today, the government got alerted. Amaravati is now under the police scanner and no leaders are allowed to enter Amaravati.
Several opposition leaders are restricted to their residences. BJP and Janasena decided to take the protests to the next level. Jansena Chief Pawan Kalyan already slammed YS Jagan for his moves against Amaravati. He said that he would meet the Centre soon to discuss about how the three capital plan can be stopped. The live telecast of the proceedings at the Legislative Council have been blocked today. "YSRCP has no face to show to the people of AP who are against 3 Capitals bill. We demand immediate restoration of the telecast & cancellation of the bill" said Chandra Babu.
