A Happy Ending for TSRTC Strike: KCR Announces to Retain Employees:- Tension prevailed across Telangana after the government rejected the rejoining of over 48,000 employees who went on an indefinite strike for over 52 days. Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) chaired a cabinet meeting yesterday and the discussions are on for the entire day about the TSRTC employees. KCR himself met the press and informed that all the employees can join back their duties starting from today. KCR announced hike on fares by 20 paise per kilometer and the new fares will be applicable from Monday.

KCR also appealed to the temporary staff not to attend the duties and said that they will surely be given a chance in the future. He thanked the private employees for serving at the much needed time. KCR announced an immediate relief of Rs 100 crores for TSRTC. "Unions and opposition parties dragged RTC employees to the roads. They are responsible for the suicides and deaths. The Telangana Government would not recognize RTC Trade Unions. In the future, things would be direct with the workers and not with the trade unions" said KCR.
