Uddhav Thackeray is the Pick for Maharashtra Chief Minister:- It is clear that Shiv Sena is all set to join hands with Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Congress to form an alliance to form the government in Maharashtra. Shiv Sena already clarified that it will take the Chief Minister's chair. As per the latest update, Uddhav Thackeray is all set to turn Chief Minister soon and the party picked up the veteran politician already. Several meetings are held to discuss about the alliance and other factors. Tomorrow, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar will meet Congress chief Sonia Gandhi to discuss about the developments.

Shiv Sena already finalized Uddhav Thackeray for the top role and revealed it to it allies. Shiv Sena unanimously voted for Uddhav Thackeray for Chief Minister position. Even NCP and Congress too are comfortable with Shiv Sena taking the chair. Though there are talks that Shiv Sena and other partners (Congress, NCP) may share the chair for 2.5 years each, Shiv Sena wanted to take the top post for five years. The other portfolios are being discussed and things will be finalized soon. Congress has two former CMs, Ashok Chavan and Prithviraj Chavan. NCP has two former deputy CMs, Ajit Pawar and Chhagan Bhujbal.
