TSRTC Strike Enters 21st Day: Union Leader Booked:- The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees have been on an indefinite strike saying that the government failed to fulfill their demands. The strike that started on October 5th reached 21st day. After a complaint given by a driver, the Joint Action Committee (JAC) convenor Ashwathama Reddy was booked on charges of wrongful restraint and criminal intimidation. A case was registered in Kukatpally Police Station after a driver named K Raju complained that Ashwathama Reddy was instigating the employees and is responsible for the death of some of the TSRTC employees.

He said that merging TSRTC into the government was Ashwathama Reddy's own demand and the employees never had such thoughts. Despite of the High Court warning the government and TSRTC to resolve the issue, nothing of such sorts happened till date. The case was booked hours after Ashwathama Reddy alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao was trying to divide the striking employees to foil their protest. Telangana Chief Minister KCR already clarified that it is not possible to merge TSRTC.
