Andhra Pradesh Minister of Transport Perni Venkataramaiah announced the decision after the cabinet meeting that has been held today. An expert committee led by Anjaneya Reddy submitted a detailed report on this after which the cabinet approved the merger. Anjaneya Reddy who is a former IPS Officer served as the managing director of APSRTC. The modalities about the merger are finalized in the cabinet meeting that is held today.
