Chidambaram Questioned Briefly About INX Media Case:- Former Finance Minister P Chidambaram was arrested by the CBI cops and the court granted three days to investigate Chidambaram. He was questioned last night in connection with the INX Media case and the fresh round of questioning will start today. The CBI cops questioned Chidambaram about the source of income of his properties that are located abroad. They also enquired about the income to purchase properties in UK, Malaysia and UK. He was even questioned about the purchase of Barcelona Tennis Club and why did Karthi receive money from British Virgin Island.

Chidambaram was even asked about the number of shell companies he and his son Karthi Chidambaram owned. Chidambaram was even questioned about his meeting with Indrani Mukerjea at the North Block. Chidambaram was asked about his meetings and programs from the past two days about the people he met after the court turned down the anticipatory bail plea filed by Chidambaram. He was asked why his mobile phone was kept switch off during the period of two days. The cops are expected to drill Chidambaram for the next two days after which they would submit a detailed report to the special CBI Court.
