Banks Can Drive Anyone to Despair Says Vijay Mallya:- Absconding businessman Vijay Mallya flew from the country and he owes over Rs 9000 crores to Indian banks. He has been taking a dig on the Indian government and banks whenever he finds an opportunity. CCD Chairman VG Siddhartha passed away after he killed himself and the whole country has been left in deep shock with his sudden demise. Vijay Mallya took to twitter to make some sensational comments on Indian banks. He said that banks can drive anyone to despair. VG Siddhartha had alleged harassment by income tax officials and a private equity partner. He mentioned it in a letter he penned to the board.

"I am indirectly related to VG Siddhartha. Excellent human and brilliant entrepreneur. I am devastated with the contents of his letter. The Government Agencies and Banks can drive anyone to despair. See what they are doing to me despite an offer of full repayment. Vicious and unrelenting. In Western Countries, Government and Banks help borrowers repay their debts. In my case, they are obstructing every possible effort for me to repay my debt whilst competing for my assets. As far as the prima facie criminal case goes wait for the appeal granted" posted Mallya on his official twitter handle.
