Telangana to Fill 1,698 Posts in BC Residential Schools:- Telangana State government has accorded permission to fill up 1,698 teaching and non-teaching posts in the Mahatma Jyothibha Phule Telangana Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institute Society (MJPTBCWREIS).
The posts will be filled by direct recruitment through the Telangana Residential Education Institute Recruitment Board (TREIRB). These include Principal (36 positions), Trained Graduate Teacher (1071 positions), Physical Education Teacher (119 positions), Librarian (119 positions), Craft/Art/Music Instructor (119 positions), Staff Nurse (119 positions), Junior Asst-cum-Typist (110 positions) and Junior Assistant (05 positions).
According to the orders issued by the Finance Department, TREI-RB Secretary will fill the vacancies through direct recruitment obtaining local cadre-wise vacancy position, roster points and qualifications, etc from the authorities concerned. The Board has asked the Secretary (TREIRB) to issue the notification and schedule for recruitment expeditiously.
The departments concerned have been asked to provide the details to the Board immediately. The department will issue essential amendments to the service rules, bye-laws, government orders changing the existing recruitment process or recruiting agency wherever necessary.
As of now, the MJPTBCWREI Society runs 142 residential schools apart from 19 junior colleges and one-degree college for women.
The residential school located at Narsapur, Medak district is exclusively for girl students from the fishermen community. The schools offer academics from 5th class to 10th class and the medium of instruction is English.
Mallaiah Battu, Secretary of MJPTBCWREI, said Continuous Comprehensive and Evaluation (CCE) method is being implemented in the schools with State syllabus.
