Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy To Join TDP:- Congress senior leader and former Union Minister Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy has been idle from some time. With Assembly and Parliament polls heading soon, Suryaprakash Reddy is keen on making his comeback and turn active. There have been speculations about him joining TDP from some time and things are now official. Suryaprakash Reddy will join TDP on February 28th. Kotla Suryaprakash Reddy happened to be the son of Former AP Chief Minister Kotla Vijaybhaskar Reddy. Suryaprakash Reddy will join TDP in the presence of Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu in a massive political meet.
Suryaprakash Reddy along with his family members will join TDP through this meeting. Suryaprakash Reddy is a three-time Lok Sabha MP from Kurnool is a huge strength for TDP for sure. Suryaprakash Reddy worked as a Minister of State for Railways in UPA regime between 2012-2014. Though Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishnamurthy objected Suryaprakash Reddy's arrival into TDP, Chandra Babu convinced him that he would be an advantage for the party in the region. Suryaprakash Reddy is keen on contesting from Kurnool Lok Sabha constituency and his wife Kotla Sujathamma will be contesting from Aluru Assembly constituency from TDP.
Chandra Babu gave his nod for the proposals of Suryaprakash Reddy after which he decided to join TDP.
