Two Separate High Courts For Andhra And Telangana:- Despite of the bifurcation of AP into two states, the new states are yet to get the High Courts separately. The issue has been raised several times and now a gazette notification has been issued by the Central Government finally. The separate High Courts will start functioning from January 1st. The Law Ministry of the country issued a gazette about this and 16 judges are allotted for AP while 10 judges are allotted for Telangana.

A temporary High Court will function from Amaravati till the complete new space for the High Court will be created in the state. However Telangana will use the Hyderabad High Court premises for the state. AP Government is in plans to erect massive structures for High Court in the new capital. AP's High Court is said to be the 25th High Court in the country.
