Heavy Rains: Telangana Leaders Alerted:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called off the TRS Legislature and Parliamentary party meet that has been scheduled to take place on Friday after heavy rains lashed the state. KCR instructed all the MLAs, MPs, MLCs to be available in their respective constituencies and take a monitoring look on the rescue operations. He reminded that Telangana will receive heavy rain fall in the next couple of days. KCR conducted a review meeting in Pragati Bhavan along with Chief Secretary SK Joshi and Director General of Police P Mahender Reddy.

He asked the officials to be quite active and alert with heavy rains. Special officers have been appointed to monitor the situations and relief activities are being planned. All the senior officials will monitor the situation round the clock from the state's Secretariat. KCR even asked the people to be quite careful across some of the regions where there is a possibility of floods and water overflowing on the roads.
