Delhi Kept On High Alert On Independence Day

Delhi Kept on High Alert on Independence Day: With Independence Day heading soon, the New Delhi police launched a manhunt to catch a terrorist who is posing as an Indian Air Force (IAF) officer in the national capital. The security has been tightened as the nation is gearing up to celebrate 71st Independence Day tomorrow. Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad have planned attacks in the national capital as per the information from the Intelligence. The security at the public places, shopping malls, movie plexes and the metro stations has been tightened.

The intelligence agencies alerted the Delhi cops after a terrorist has been spotted at the Connaught Place posing as an Indian Air Force (IAF) officer. Over 1000 CCTV cameras have been installed around Red Fort and the security has been tightened. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation tomorrow. 15 companies of security personnel have been deployed to take care of the security. Delhi cops also wanted the citizens to alert the cops if anything suspicious has been spotted. Traffic has been diverted on the eve of Independence Day.
