TDP Introduces Kapu Quota Bill In Parliament:- Right after he deferred with BJP and NDA, TDP Chief and AP Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu has been quite innovative. With Kapu reservation turning out to raise the political heat in Andhra Pradesh, TDP moved a private bill in Lok Sabha and it asked the Centre's approval for the same. The ball is now in the court of the Centre which will finalize about the Kapu reservation bill. AP Assembly unanimously passed 5% reservation bill in the state Assembly for Kapus in government jobs and educational institutions. A separate category 'F' has been included for Kapus.

The TDP now moved a private bill in Lok Sabha yesterday. With the 5% addition, the total reservation in the state exceeded 50% and the nod from Centre is compulsory in the issue. As per the Schedule 9, Centre's approval is needed said Chandra Babu. He even reminded that the bill has been sent to the Parliament without any delay. On the other side, YSRCP Chief YS Jagan's comments on Kapus irked him and he soon took back his comments on Kapu reservation.
