4383 New Panchayats In Telangana:- Telangana state will be getting 4383 new panchayats and they would be operational from Thursday. Telangana Government revealed that they fulfilled a major promise which has been announced during the elections. This would turn out to be a major platform for development. Panchayat Raj Minister Jupally Krishna Rao said that it was a part of the election manifesto and it turned out to be a reality soon.

"It will ensure speedy development and has vast opportunities for this generation. The new Gram Panchayats will come into existence from August 2nd. 1177 tribal hamlets are upgraded into Panchayats. All the Ministers, MLAs and MPs along with TRS leaders will participate in the celebrations this Thursday and they will inaugurate the new Panchayats. 12788 special officers have been appointed to care of the activities of the local bodies" informed Jupally Krishna Rao.
