SIT Nabs Suspected Shooter Of Gauri Lankesh:- Veteran journalist Gauri Lankesh has been brutally murdered last year and this case created a sensation across the country. The incident took place in Bengaluru in Gauri's residence and this incident left many questions unanswered. Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been investigating the case and they nabbed Parashuram Waghmore (26) and they suspect that he is the one who shot her. He was produced in the Third ACMM Court in Bengaluru and the court remanded to 14-days police custody.

Parashuram has been nabbed from Sindgi in Vijayapura district and it was Sunil Aksar who gave clues about Parashuram. SIT clarified that Sunil had no role in this murder. The weapon is yet to be traced and six people have arrested in this case informed SIT. The CCTV footage has been sent to forensic lab for examination and with the result, SIT managed to nab the suspects. Parashuram conducted recce and he practiced shooting for a month before Gauri Lankesh was killed. Gauri Lankesh was killed outside her Bengaluru house on September 5th, 2017.
