Kashmir Professor Gets Killed On Terrorist Acts:- It is sure a huge shock for the country after a 33-year-old assistant professor Mohammad Rafi Bhat who hails from University of Kashmir left the university on Friday and he was killed on Sunday. Mohammad Rafi Bhat managed to get good name in no time in the university and in a surprising move, Mohammad Rafi Bhat joined Hizbul Mujahideen. After the professor went missing, students started protest soon and a missing case was lodged on Saturday.

However Mohammad Rafi Bhat was killed on Sunday and he is said to have joined Hizbul Mujahedeen during January. He instead of going to his home town headed to the militancy hub in South Kashmir. He was killed in an encounter and he was one among the five who got killed. “Please forgive me if I hurt anyone,” Bhat told his father in the last call made from the encounter site.

Bhat was working as assistant professor on contractual basis in the department of Sociology at University of Kashmir. He was teaching Indian society, Diaspora and rural development theory for the students.
