Venkaiah Naidu Rejects Congress-Led Impeachment Move Against Chief Justice:- In a shocking move Indian Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu rejected the notice for Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra's impeachment which has been proposed by Congress. The impeachment has been moved three days ago and Venkaiah Naidu was in Hyderabad because of which it was delayed. Venkaiah Naidu returned back Sunday afternoon and rejected the proposal of Congress which had the notice signed by 60 Parliamentarians.

The latest update says that the Congress led Parliamentarians will challenge the rejection in the Supreme Court. Venkaiah Naidu consulted Attorney General KK Venugopal, former Supreme Court judge B Sudershan Reddy, constitutional expert Subhash Kashyap before rejecting the notice. Arun Jaitley called the notice a revenge petition against the Chief Justice.
