Undivided AP Neglected Old City In Hyderabad:- Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao made some bold statements on the old city of Hyderabad. He said that the old city has been neglected during the undivided Andhra Pradesh. Problems like narrow roads, potholes, overflowing drains, bad power connectivity and drinking water crisis which have been left unaddressed from the past three decades. KCR said the the possibilities for the permanent solution are being worked on.

"We are not in a mood to let old city people suffer after achieving a seperate state. All these issues have been left unaddressed during the united state and people have been suffering from the past 30 years. We are in plans to find permanent solutions for all these issues", KCR said during a review meeting held in Pragati Bhavan. Rs 200 crores have been alloted for the expansion of nalas and stormwater drains in the oldcity.

Under the Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP), the Chief Minister cleared the proposals for construction of three new bridges in the Old City. Several Telangana ministers have been present during the review meeting held on status of Old City development works.
