Kejriwal Backs Protesting TDP MPs In New Delhi: TDP Supremo Nara Chandra Babu Naidu met leaders of various political parties in New Delhi and requested their support on the protest of Special Status for AP. He even met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Kejriwal promised that he would extend support for the cause. After the Parliament sessions came to an end, TDP MPs started protesting across New Delhi and they marched towards the residence of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They have been detained during the march by the cops. Arvind Kejriwal met the TDP MPs in Tughlaq Road Police Station extending his support for Andhra Pradesh.

"This is arrogance and not democracy. We are here to support TDP and their demands. They have the right to protest because of the injustice done to Andhra Pradesh" commented Kejriwal after he extended his support. He even slammed Narendra Modi and his government for ignoring AP in granting special status. Before this TDP MPs ave beeen bundled into a bus and they have been rushed to Tughlaq Road Police Station. They have been detained at Lok Kalyan Marg which is located in the heart of the city.
