Passenger Plane With 71 On Board Crash Lands At Nepal Airport:- A Bangladesi airplane with over 67 passengers on board along with four crew members crashed at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal today. The plane was about to land and it lost control and crashed on to a football pitch nearby. The incident took place at 2.20 PM local time. The rescue team rushed to the spot and pulled out several people who have been partially burnt. Government spokesman Narayan Prasad Duwadi confirmed deaths as a result of the crash.

An update on this awaited and the US - Bangla Airlines plane veered off the runway. Plumes of black smoke could be seen coming out from the football pitch and 20 people have been rushed to the hospital. Fire services have been informed and the fire is brought to control. US-Bangla Airlines is a unit of the US-Bangla Group, a U.S. Bangladeshi joint venture project.
