YSRCP Boycotts Assembly Sessions: Protests Outside Parliament:- The opposition YSR Congress (YSRCP) is quite keen on attacking the ruling TDP in the state. While YS Jagan has been busy with the foot march across the state, the party MLAs boycotted the Assembly sessions which kick-started today. The budget sessions of Andhra Pradesh legislature started today and YSRCP leaders decided to stay away from the sessions. This is because of the 22 MLAs not being announced disqualified despite of several attempts from the opposition party. The 22 YSRCP MLAs include four ministers joined the cabinet of Chandra Babu Naidu long ago. V Vijayasai Reddy confirmed that they have submitted a second petition regarding the disqualification.

On the other side, hundreds of YSRCP leaders along with MLAs and MPs gathered near the Indian Parliament in New Delhi staging a march for the special status of Andhra Pradesh. YSRCP along with Congress and CPI protested outside the Parliament today. The protests are said to continue till the centre grants the special status to the state as promised. On the other side, TDP MPs too have been protesting in the Parliament and the first session of the day has been stalled as because of these protests along with Nirav Modi's PNB scam.
