TDP Retains Alliance With BJP: Inside Facts:- There have been several speculations that the ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh has been in plans to break up with BJP. After the recent budget, the whole state was left in shock and TDP has been targeted by the opposition parties. AP Chief Minister N Chandra Babu Naidu held a crucial parliamentary board meeting with the MPs along with the crucial leaders, ministers and other MLAs of the party. It is during this time; BJP Chief Amit Shah rang up Babu and asked him not to take any tough decisions at this time.
In a surprising move, after the completion of the crucial parliamentary board meeting, Babu and his leaders decided to retain the alliance with BJP. Babu said that the party will take the right decision and at the needed time. Senior leader YS Chowdary revealed that they are in plans to take over the issues to the centre and get them addressed. He even asked the people not believe in the rumours speculated in the media. There are strong talks that Babu had a word with Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray.
