Modi Spends Time With Soldiers During Diwali:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the eve of Diwali reached Gurez valley located across the Line of Control (LoC) and he spent some ample time along with the Indian soldiers celebrating Diwali with them. He celebrated the festival along with the troops in the forward area. Modi addressed the army across the Line of Control calling them his family members and so he came to spend time with them. Modi distributed gifts to the army jawans during his visit.

He said that spending time with army gives him lot of positive energy. Modi revealed about One Rank One Pension which will be implemented soon. Army chief General Bipin Rawat, Northern Command chief Lt General Devraj Anbu and Chinar Corps Commander Lt Gen J S Sandhu accompanied the Prime Minister during his visit. This is the second time Modi visited Jammu and Kashmir to celebrate with the army troops and this happened during 2014 in the past.
