The programme is aimed at strengthening the party in the grassroot level and enrolling at least one member of each household in the State into the party. YSRC Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy officially launched the programme on September 2.

The programme was commenced on Monday, on a day when the ruling TDP launched ‘Intintiki Telugu Desam’ programme. The YSR Kutumbam will continue till October 2 and people can enroll themselves as members of the programme by giving a miss call to 91210 91210.

The YSRC MLAs including V Kalavathi, Adimulapu Suresh and Narayana Swamy said that the ruling TDP leaders including the Chief Minister were forced to hit the streets in the name of Intintiki Telugu Desam after the YSRC announcement of YSR Kutumbam. The MLAs said the enrollment drive of the party received a tremendous response from the people. The MLAs said that those unable to enroll with the party workers can opt for online registration on the website www.ysrkutumbam.com.

As part of the ‘YSR Kutumbam’ programme, each leader and cadre of YSRCP will visit two houses per day in the vicinity of every polling booth and highlight the welfare programmes launched by late chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy.

“As part of the programme, trained workers of our party will hit the streets from Monday explaining the people about the con act of CM N Chandrababu Naidu and also about the golden rule of the former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy,” said a YSRC leader.

Meanwhile, the YSRCP MLAs said that AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu is synonymous with copying other parties programmes and exploitation of the media for political gains. To be recalled, the CM launched ‘Inti Intiki TDP’ programme by copying the YSRCP’s ‘YSR Kutumbam’ campaign. Earlier too, the ruling party launched ‘Chaitanya Yatras’ soon after the YSR Congress took up ‘Gadapa Gadapaku YSR Congress.’

The AP CM’s government was already exposed for copying the Telangana state government’s website on ‘Ease Of Doing Business’ recently. The AP stole the information from Telangana website and posted the same on AP website which brought disrepute to Andhra at the national level.
