Cabinet Reshuffle: Bandaru Dattatreya Resigns:- Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wanted to reshuffle the cabinet and bring fresh faces on board after which some of them have been asked to quit. Senior Politician and BJP MP from Secunderabad, Bandaru Dattatreya has been assigned the role of Union Labour Minister and he has been representing Telangana. Now in the process of reshuffle, Bandaru Dattatreya has been asked to quit after which the senior leader submitted his resignation on Friday.
Junior ministers-Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Sanjiv Kumar Balyan, Faggan Singh Kulaste and Mahendra Nath Pandey submitted their resignation recently after which Bandaru Dattatreya followed them. Massive changes took place ahead of the cabinet reshuffle and earlier UP BJP President Pandey submitted his resignation. He thanked Narendra Modi and Amit Shah for the opportunity. Narendra Modi is said to reshuffle the cabinet on Sunday at 10 AM before he leaves for his China trip. Modi will attend the BRICS Summit in China.
Sources informed that this is the last biggest cabinet reshuffle by BJP before the 2019 Parliament election. Bandaru Dattatreya has been serving BJP from the past four decades and worked in various roles in united Andhra Pradesh. Bandaru Dattatreya has been quite loyal to the party and stood with it during the tough times. There are talks that Bandaru Dattatreya has been promised the role of the Governor soon after which he submitted his resignation. The 70-year old politician revealed that he has completely satisfied with his political career and he respects the party’s decision.
BJP general secretary Bhupender Yadav, party’s vice president Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, Prahlad Patel, Suresh Angadi, Satyapal Singh, Himanta Biswa Sarma and Prahlad Joshi are being talked about within the party as probable ministers.
