A meeting will be held by with the representatives of the film industry and exhibitors to discuss the quantum of the hike. We will assess the exact impact of the new tax on the movie business and revise the ticket rates accordingly, since the GST is coming into force from July 1.”

After a 10 day stay in new Delhi, the Chief Minister returned to the city on Thursday night, and reviewed the ticket price issue with officials on Friday.
