BJP Parliamentary Board To Discuss Presidential Election Nominees Today?

BJP Parliamentary Board To Discuss Presidential Election Nominees Today?:- As per the informed sources, the BJP Parliamentary board will meet today to discuss the nominees for the Presidential Election, which is scheduled to be held on July 17.

The meeting of the party’s highest decision making body will also be attended by the Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Chief Amit Shah.

The board members would be briefed about the consultation of the three-member party committee formed, to evolve in accord with the Opposition, says sources.

Last week, this three-member committee was constituted by Shah and it comprised of senior BJP leaders Rajnath Singh, M. Venkaiah Naidu and Arun Jaitley.

To ensure the Sena’s crucial support, Amit Shah on Sunday met its fretting ally and Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray and his son Aditya Thackeray in Mumbai. Meanwhile, discussions were held by Naidu and Union Minister Ram Vilas Paswan, who heads the Lok Janshakti Party. He also met Samajwadi Party’s Ram Gopal Yadav and Naresh Agrawal. While, the leaders of the Trinamool Congress and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) were addressed by Jaitley.

Last week, Rajnath Singh and Naidu had met Congress President Sonia Gandhi and CPI-M General Secretary Sitaram Yechury to evolve consensus on a candidate nominee.
