Actor Manoj Tiwari to Become BJP’s New President in Delhi

Manoj Tiwari, who is an actor turned politician  is said to be the next Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) president of Delhi. Tiwari will replace Satish Upadhyay as the BJP chief.

BJP President Amit Shah has appointed MP Nityanand Rai as the chief of BJP’s Bihar unit. The 45-year-old actor is Bhartiya Janata Party’s face in the eastern parts of the country. He has a huge following among the Bhojpuri speaking voters from Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh.

Tiwari is presently the member of parliament from the North-East Delhi. He is quite popular among the voters and this might be the reasons why BJP has decided to make him the president. He will compete with Congress’s Ajay Maken and Aam Aadmi Party’s chief Arvind Kejriwal in the upcoming elections.

Tiwari was born on February 1, 1973. He is a well-known face in Bhojpuri cinema as an actor and singer. Tiwari became popular after he participated in the popular reality show Big Boss- 4th season.

He also contested the general elections with the Samajwadi Party in 2009. He represented the BJP in 2014.
