In the latest update of India's Surgical Strike, around 35-40 terrorists along with 9 Pakistan army men were killed.

DGMO Lt Gen Ranbir Singh held a press conference in which he announced that India conducted surgical strikes across the LoC. The press conference was jointly conducted by the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Defence.

Punjab has asked to immediately start evacuation of people residing in villages within 10 kms of International border.

Army chief and Air chief met Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar and IB minister Rajyavardhan Rathore held a meeting.

Pak Defence minister Khawaja Asif has also briefed PM Nawaz Sharif on current situation at Pakistan Prime Minister's house.

Before the all party meet schehuled at 4 p.m., a meeting is underway at 10 Janpath. In attendance are Congress leaders Ghulam Nabi Azad and Ahmed Patel, AK Antony and Manmohan Singh.
