The CRDA of Andhra Pradesh invited bidders for competitive bidding for the selection of developing the start-up of Amaravathi, the capital of Andhra Pradesh. For this the Andhra Pradesh CRDA placed advertisements on all the leading newspapers sending invitations for many top bidders across the globe.

Ascendas-Singbridge-Sembcorp Development has been accepted by the Andhra Pradesh government under Swiss Challenge and is a Singapore based company. Under this method, AP government has been inviting some quality developers to present their bids and the lowest bid will, get this prestigious project.

The estimated cost of the project is said to be Rs 3137 crores and it includes the construction of business parks, residential zones, commercial hubs along with a world class business district.
