TTD worker’s son makes Tirupati Proud

This boy did not prepare for Eamcet or IIT but dared to look beyond.

V..Hitesh Chowdary (21), son of a small-time employee working in the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), made his parents proud by a phenomenal rise in his career. He became a Sub-Lieutenant in the Indian Navy.

He studied up to 8th class in JCR Chaitanya. Later he moved to Korukonda Sainik  for rest of schooling, before joining B.Tech (ECE) in Indian Naval Academy, Payyanur (Kerala). After the successful completion of his course, he was commissioned into the Navy at a colourful ceremony on May 28.

Hitesh had a goal in his life which he achieved now. He said that “I set my goal and pursued it seriously”. He scored 9.8 CGPA out of 10 in SSC, 90 per cent in class XII at Sainik School and 8.2 for 10 in B.Tech,

He was in the second position in his INA batch. From many years, it has been a trend that parents or students think to pursue either engineering or Doctor as their career. But Hitesh had the total different mindset and he proved that one can achieve their goal if he or she works hard and focus on their path.

He added that INA course is very tough, going by the number of aspirants to pass-outs,

His father Velakaturi Sudhakar Chowdary and mother V. Bharathi were proud of their son when they were asked to adorn the black and gold-coloured naval stripes on their son’s shoulder, as is the practice in vogue.

Mr Sudhakar Chowdary said, “It is all due to his hard work.”
