BCs will be neglected after Kapus inclusion - BC chief

Against the government decision to include Kapus into BCs, a guy named Murali Goud, belonging to BC community tried to commit suicide in Andhra Pradesh.

Protesting against the government, about 100 BC organizations across the state, assembled in a private hotel in Vijayawada and conducted a meeting, which witnessed several controversies. After noticing Murali Goud, who tried to self-immolate, was saved by the BC activists, present in the meeting.

During the meeting, the police tried to intervene, but the BC activists continuously raised loud slogans asking police to move back.

BC national chief R Krishnaiah, state chief Shankaraiah and several other people related to the BC community, have attended the meeting. They are completely against the inclusion of Kapus into BCs and even warned to declare an open war, if the government makes any activities, regarding its implementation.

Speaking to the media, R Krishnaiah said, “Firstly the AP government should make a survey, whether Kapus are in politics, higher employment and rest others and only then, it should decide on the issue. It should even consult all the BCs and inquire their position comparing it with the current Kapus.”

Krishnaiah clearly opined that, Kapus are being benefited in all the areas since long and BCs are further getting degraded. He warned the government that, any positive move towards Kapus, without consulting BCs, would result in the serious consequences.

When asked that Chandrababu Naidu guaranteed that no existing BCs are going to lose their existing benefits, after Kapus inclusion, denying it Krishnaiah said, “ For education purposes, there are separate groups. But there are no such groups regarding employment opportunities and politics. So obviously in the second category, Kapus will be benefited and BCs will be left as fools.”

“Even there are no groups in Central government jobs and again, there is a threat of Kapus taking advantage and stealing all our opportunities,” Krishnaiah said

It seems, the issue of Kapus Vs BCs is turning violent day by day. At this point of time, the government should take a proper decision quickly, balancing both the communities and solving the sensitive issue carefully, before the situations turn worse.
