Former Judge Prabhakar Rao, accused in the bail scam of mining baron Gali Janardhan Reddy, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at his residence in Marredpally,  Hyderabad.

Though the incident took place yesterday, it came to light after Prabhakar Rao’s wife tried reaching him through phone from her residence in Kompally.

In the beginning, everyone felt that the death was due to cardiac arrest, but Gopalapuram ACP Sivakumar said that, there are even possibilities of suicide.

After he was offered bail, Prabhakar Rao has claimed that, he was cornered in the mining case by several biggies been claiming innocence, and that he is being framed in the bail scam.

Marredpallly police booked case under 174 CrPC and autopsy is being conducted at Gandhi Hospital.

Prabhakar Rao is one out of Three Judges who were  arrested in Gali Janardhana Reddy bail case. Prabhakar Rao was suspended by the Andhra Pradesh High Court on July 6th in this connection.
