A 12-year-old boy Armaan Singh, a resident of Dallas, Texas, US, was jailed, after he tried to play a prank, on his classmate, saying that, he was carrying a bomb in his pocket.

The issue was out, after the boy’s cousin mentioned about the same, in a Facebook post, which was shared by many.

Armaan’s cousin Ginee Haer’s post read, “A bully in class thought it would be funny to accuse him (Armaan Singh Sarai) of having a bomb, and so the principal, without any questioning, interrogation, or notification to his parents, called the police.”

The boy’s parents, who are unaware of the arrest, were worried, as he did not return back from the school. They were later informed that, the kid was sent to Juvenile prison.   

The police said that, they went to Nichols Junior High School, after a student told a teacher that Armaan was planning to blow up the school.

However, Haer tried to convince the public, through his post saying, “Armaan was born and raised in Texas by a loving Sikh family. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his family, watching tv, and playing video games.”

“Armaan has two sisters and a brother, along with a mom and dad in his family, who loves Armaan, more than life. Their family moved to Dallas 4 months ago. Due to a defective heart condition, Armaan was not able to move out much,” the post read.  

“He can not do a lot of extra curricular activities. But his love from family and friends has always been enough to keep his heart filled. They would describe him really funny, nice, and a caring human being,” Haer informed in the post.

Recently, a school boy from Texas, named Ahmed Mohamed, was jailed, after he brought a handmade clock, which the teacher mistook it for a bomb and called the police. Armaan’s incident would also fall on the similar lines.
